Kakumeiki Valvrave 2

I’m afraid that this is another one of those reviews that will cause my cheeks to glow red. I, during my review of the first season, made a premature judgment by comparing Kakumeiki Valvrave to Gundam Seed because they had similar beginnings. I was wrong in the end.

Kakumeiki Valvrave 2I have seen most (if not all) of the Gundam series, and I can honestly say that these Valvrave mechs look a lot better than most of the mechs in the Gundam series. You tell just by looking at it that they worked a lot on these series, no doubt about that.

I made a mistake before because I thought that the story looked way too similar to that of Gundam Seed. That was absolutely wrong. They’re nothing alike. This story is packed with action and mystery, I love it!

I absolutely recommend that you give the Valvrave series a try. Watch the first season if you haven’t already and prepare yourself for something good! They are definitely worth your time.

Plot Summary: Thanks to the development of the Dyson Sphere, The majority of the human populace lives in space. The Dorssia Military Federation, and the Atlantic Rim United States exist as major Military countries, while JOIR is a neutral principality, the story follows Haruto Tokishima as a normal boy going thru high school in T.C (True Calendar) year 71. This all changes when Haruto meets the humanoid weapon Valvrave.

  1. Splash Log Level 2 Again says:

Upon Saki kissing Haruto, the Valvrave’s AI kicked in (I’m betting its more of a deity), and said something on the display. But how ever, the translation was blurred by her arms (And chest…). I could only make out the “Is this ————— curse?”

season 2 will give us a lot more 😀

  2. We already knew that a second season was coming. They originally planned to make it a 26 ep anime before they decided to make 2 seasons
