Okay, now this is a tough one. I have mixed feelings about this one, as it’s usually not my sort of show. However, I do think that it has some potential. It doesn’t seem like it’ll get boring any time soon, unlike a lot of other anime with similar set-ups.
The artwork isn’t all that bad, surprisingly. It happens rarely, but I did actually get to see a character with a mole. You don’t see those very often. Characters are usually fair skinned and ‘perfect’. So yeah, I liked that bit. I don’t think the background is very detailed though. I saw a few sloppy scenes that could do with a patch-up.
Anyway, it’s the story that we need to focus on here. It’s very unique, even though the idea isn’t that original. I mean, a group of people swapping bodies? That doesn’t sound very original to me, and yet it seems so interesting and unique.
I’m just going to go ahead by giving this anime a thumb up. It has potential. You could squeeze quite a few episodes out of this one. Think about it; a group of people that randomly swap bodies with each other… The possibilities are practically endless…
Plot Summary: The five members of the Cultural Study group that meets in class 401 have spent a lot of time wondering what it would be like to be in someone else’s shoes. But they’re about to learn that there’s a huge difference between thinking about something and literally BEING in someone else’s shoes! Because that’s exactly what happens when, suddenly and inexplicably, they each find themselves inside the body of the girl (or boy) next door!
What happens next? Well, besides bringing a whole new meaning to the term “Exchange Student” and the expected freaked out runs to the bathroom, it’s not hard to do the math: Take one wrestling geek, the resident cool girl, the class clown, the popular chick and one sultry maid of mystery, scramble thoroughly and divide, and you can bet that pretty soon they’ll be answering ALL of the questions they never wanted to know about the opposite sex in ways they never anticipated!
