Kuro Majo-san ga Tooru!!

Sigh, another one of those short anime’s, huh? Well, I must admit that it looks a whole lot better than NarutoSD. I wouldn’t call it a must-watch, but the first episode was definitely entertaining. It’s probably because the episode was over before it would start to annoy you, unlike with NarutoSD.

The artwork isn’t that bad, although I wish they would pay more attention to the background. I hate to say it, but it looks pretty dreadful at times. I know that it’s probably part of their “style”, but come on… The characters look pretty darn good when you have such ugly backgrounds.

Anyway, the story is nothing to brag about. Girl accidently summons a witch, and that witch tries to turn her into a witch, and so the story goes on…

I suppose goth loli fans will eat this up. It can be pretty funny at times, I suppose, but the main character is what makes this anime so attractive. She’s cute, small and very cheerful, I’m pretty sure that people love that sort of thing. I for one won’t be watching, sorry. It’s just not my cup of tea.

Plot Summary: Chiyoko Kurotori is a 5th grader who loves the occult. One day, she tries to divine her friend’s “cupid,” but thanks to a stuffy nose summons a witch named Gyubid instead. From that day on, Gyyubid becomes Chiyoko’s magic instructor. She must learn to balance the grueling demands of her training with her normal school life.
