Kuroko no Basuke 2 episode 02
Okay, second season, we all know what that means, right? Putting aside the fact that many Kuroko no Basket-related events were cancelled because of bomb threats, I still think that these series are worth writing about, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
They are basically continuing season one’s story, which isn’t necessarily a good thing. I started getting bored during the last two or three episodes of season one. It was always the same thing; training, matches, one or more of the players developing a new and amazing basketball technique that might help them win their matches.
We picked up where we left off. We are going to watch Kuroko’s progress as he develops this new technique of his, and we’ll watch how Taiga is going to train his ass off in order to defeat Tatsuya, an old friend of his that taught him how to play basketball, and Atsushi, one of the two remaining players from the Generation of Miracles that Kuroko and Taiga have to defeat.
It’s going to be difficult for them to defeat both of those players when they’re playing for the same side, but it should be doable now that Kuroko’s working on a technique that lets him pass any opponent, even if they are aware of what’s going to happen. It’s an endless loop; player A comes up with a technique that helps him win the match, then player B shows up out of nowhere and squashes player A’s technique, forcing Player A to come up with yet another technique in order to win matches. That’s how these stories work.
