Kuroko no Basuke 2 episode 14

I knew it. I knew that this would happen eventually. In fact, I’m glad it happened so early in the Winter Cup. It would be better to get this over with right away than to have to endure it during the last few episodes.

The kicker is that he actually did it with his eyes closed, which, to be very honest, put quite a big smile on my face. I dare say that it’s actually worthwhile to watch Seirin play against the same team twice, again. I was getting tired of seeing Kuroko and his ridiculous, yet cool moves. They have all been defeated and now he’s left with nothing. All that he can do now is rely on his misdirection until he finds a new move that might help him for a few more matches until that one gets defeated, too.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen him shout during this episode. He stayed calm even when he stood face to face with Daiki. That’s quite unusual. I don’t buy that “he’s grown mentally” crap. He must be hiding something. He probably has a new move too or something. I need to know!

I don’t think I need to guess what’s about to happen next. Kuroko is out of the game because he just became completely useless and now it’s up to the remaining players to carry the team to victory. There’s no doubt in my mind that Taiga is going to raise hell and dunk a few times after beating Daiki at his own game. That’s just how these types of stories work.
