Kuroko no Basuke 2 episode 24
Another week has gone by and still no news about the third season of Kuroko no Basuke. It’s obvious to anyone that there’s going to be a third season, otherwise the animation just wouldn’t make sense, but for things to be this quiet is rather troubling…
One more episode remains if I’m not mistaken. This episode was primarily a small source of information about certain characters and their flaws. Of course, I knew that Taiga would enter “the zone” and that it was going to be one of those episodes that revolved primarily around that supernatural state where one’s physical limitations are no longer an issue. A state that allows characters like Taiga to move unlike any other ‘normal’ human character. Not really surprising, it’s something that I could see coming before this match even began. I’m sure everyone made that assumption before it actually happened.
It’s quite a mystery how that team managed to come this far. Their two star players both have quite a few issues that need to be addressed. Atsushi is an annoying child that gets aggressive and selfish as soon as things don’t go his way. Tatsuya, too, is just another child that can’t get over his jealousy and refuses to accept that Taiga, his good old friend, is better than him.
Was I amused? Not at all. It’s been a disappointing few episodes to be very honest. The only improvement, although very minor, is that Kuroko finally started shooting. That’s seriously the one good thing that came from all of this. All that’s left is to beat Atsushi and his team in order to beat Ryouta and his team (again) during their next match.
