Kuroko no Basuke
Now this I like! I haven’t actually noticed until now, but it seems that most of the basketball anime’s have been very successful. Still, that’s not why I have faith in this one. I found the first episode to be very interesting and amusing. It’s not the type of thing you usually see in a sports anime, which makes it even more interesting.
The artwork is good, really good. I haven’t examined it yet, but it looked pretty detailed from what I’ve seen. Also, the characters look great. I think that you won’t forget these characters any time soon, as most of them look very unique and interesting, especially that little runt, Tetsuya, who used to play for a famous high school team.
Yeah, the artwork is good, but the story is the best about this. You have all types of athletes, and they make that very clear in this anime. I’m honestly glad that they took a different road, instead of the usual unknown-super-talent-carries-his-team-to-the-top type of anime. I think that Kuroko no Basket, or more commonly known as Kuroko’s basketball, has a great deal of potential, so I will definitely be following it.
Yes. You don’t even need to ask. I definitely recommend this anime. Not only do I recommend it to sport fans, but to everyone. I know that there are a lot of people out there that wouldn’t normally watch a sports-genre anime, but why not give this one a try? It’s really different from your average sports anime.
Plot Summary: Kuroko is a member from the legendary middle school basketball team known as “The Generation of Miracles”, and while nobody seems to know about him, the main 5 players of the team all admit that he is a better player. When he joins the high school basketball team, everyone is surprised to find out that he is small, weak, and easy to miss. What is the secret that makes him so strong, and how will he help his high school team?
