Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon 2 episode 05
Here we go again! We yet again embark upon a story with a lot of fighting between ridiculous characters and nations. Why, how or when doesn’t really matter anymore. Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon is officially back now, seeing as I don’t count the first three episodes as actual episodes, and is kicking a lot of enemy ass.
The story continues with an ambush by England’s finest warriors. A werewolf, a naked fairy, a pair of swimmers, a talking skeleton and a silent swordsman join the big picture. That werewolf likes to eat people, including bits of his wife. That fairy will only fight on his own field(s). Those two swimming freaks are more into sports than fighting. That skeleton just makes bad jokes and hides behind an army of skeletons. And finally, that swordsman is a complete mystery that vanished after his attack got deflected. Seriously, the battles in this anime rarely ever make sense. Sure, there’s usually something at stake, but come on… Only in Japan.
Meanwhile Toori will have to convince Horizon to retrieve her emotions during their date. Retrieving her emotions means that they would have to collect all of the Deadly Sin Armaments, Thereby submitting to the idea of world conquest. Oh god, can you imagine Toori running the world with Horizon by his side? That’s a terrifying thought.
Three battles are already over and Toori is still in the clear, but if either one of the two remaining battles gets won by England then Toori will have no choice but to fight in a duel against one of England’s finest. Toori and fighting? Yeah right. That would probably be the dullest and shortest fight ever. I don’t think anyone’s waiting to see that.
