Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon 2 episode 11

Man, what a strange episode. Frankly, I’m not entirely sure I like it. Sure, Tenzou has his girl back after a great deal of trouble, but what about the rest? What about the struggle to this point? I hate to say it, but it seemed way too easy. It’s only been a few episodes since she was held captive. Plus, in the end, we didn’t even get to see Tenzou’s face. That’s just disappointing.

I know I said that it seemed way too easy, even though Musashi now has to find a way to escape the Spanish fleet that’s trying to prevent them from ever leaving. Sure, that part I liked. I don’t like it when things get trimmed down easily. Some do it because there’s very little time left, some because they want to focus on more important things and others just don’t know what the hell they’re doing. Frankly speaking? I hope that they are trying to focus on more important things. The first season was kind of bumpy, but it had a decent ending, so I still have high hopes for this one.

There are two more things that I want to point out about this particular episode; the first one would have to be the conversation that took place before the two sisters took a hold of Excalibur, a mythical weapon. I liked that. Things ended way too quickly after that, but I was really enjoying myself up to that point. I just hope that I get to see a bit more of that before this season ends.

Lastly; I want to address this issue, an issue I’ve addressed several times already now, about how Toori is still running around naked without a goal in sight. He himself has a goal, we all know that, but he contributes absolutely nothing. It was funny during the first season, as it was something new, interesting and overall pretty funny. However, right now it’s turning into this eyesore that you can expect to see during each and every episode. I guess you could say that I’m slightly disappointed, that’s all.
