Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon 2

Sigh, I am way behind on my reviews. I might as well get this over with. I was actually waiting for the second season, as the first one didn’t end as I had expected. I still have many answers. I won’t say too much about it right now, but I expect that most of my answers will be answered within this second season.

Anyway, the artwork is still the same, although I have spotted two minor changes. Actually, I think I should say that I have spotted two minor improvements. And I still can’t complain about the characters. Most of them have several unique traits, which is something I like to see. In fact, I don’t think I would change anything about the artwork. It’s fine as it is right now.

As for the story goes, well… I can’t see the angle yet. Toori has his beloved Horizon, yet he and his friends (or just his friend to simply things) are still fighting. It’s all a bit hazy right now. I expect that thing will be clarified during the next few episodes. After all, there’s no such thing as Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon without a goal.

Do I recommend it though? I think I would, yes. I think that fantasy and sci-fi fans loved the first season, as will they come to love the second season too. I bet that this anime would have a much bigger fan base if things got clarified every now and then, but maybe that’s just me.

Plot Summary: Taking advantage of the opportunity that the Mikawa Conflict provides, Tori and his comrades attempt to rescue Horizon from the Testament Union. But even as the Floating City Musashi speeds towards its next destination, the Floating Island England, Tres España is preparing its own armada for war against the British Islanders. Now, as the quest of Horizon’s emotions builds to its climax, Tori’s new battle is about to begin in the land ruled by the Fairy Queen! The reenactment of the history described in the mysterious Testament continues as the secret of the Armor of Deadly Sins is unleashed in the spectacular second season of Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere!
