Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei episode 11

The world nearly lost me, GameDemon, the world’s worst reviewer, today. You see, I nearly gave myself a heart attack when I saw that this was the eleventh episode. I had temporarily forgotten that Mahouka has twenty-five episodes instead of the usual twelve or thirteen. How stupid is that!?

[HorribleSubs] Mahouka - 11 [720p].mkv_snapshot_07.15_[2014.06.16_00.00.28]I kind of found it rather strange that Tatsuya had to explain himself to that fairy prince (pun intended). He saved you from getting shot by rending those three criminals unable to fire those guys, and all you do to thank him for his efforts is shower him with questions? Sweet mother of god… Get on your knees and kiss his shoes for probably saving your life!

I also found it strange that Tatsuya was invited to sit with a couple of government goons. What are they up to? I know that Tatsuya isn’t as weak and stupid as to let himself get manipulated by other characters. Hell no. That guy’s mind is like clockwork. Never any unnecessary actions and never any mistakes… Love it!

[HorribleSubs] Mahouka - 11 [720p].mkv_snapshot_15.46_[2014.06.16_00.00.43]I must admit that I didn’t really care of the tournament though. I watched as characters were fighting one another during these strange games. Instead of enjoying that and wanting to see more of it, I just kept wondering when Tatsuya gets his turn. My mind if completely focussed on seeing a Weed (or course two student) defeat every single Bloom (or course one student). Wouldn’t that be epic?

I think that either two things would happen. The highly unlikely theory would be the school (and government) adjusting their system by no longer labelling people with Bloom or Weed titles. The more likely theory would be that the school would promote him to a full-fledged Bloom as not to embarrass the system. I really hope I get to see that one of these days…
