Maji de Otaku na English! Ribbon-chan: Eigo de Tatakau Mahou Shoujo – The TV

Amazing… So much potential! I’m not talking about the quality of the show, of course not, that’s just crap, but I’m talking about the possibility of using this crap to track down potential paedophiles. Anyone willing to stare at a monitor with this show on must have a screw loose.

Maji de Otaku na English! Ribbon-chan Eigo de Tatakau Mahou Shoujo - The TVI don’t even want to discuss the artwork or story to be very honest. What is there to say? For about five minutes per episode you get to see a little girl and a very tight suit jumping all over the place. Shell dance, shake her little loli ass and say a few cute chants and there you have it.

Let’s just face it; it’s five minutes per episode. There’s hardly any story. It’s just a strange attempt to get you to laugh at something you wouldn’t usually see. It’s a constant reminder that only the Japanese create such things.

Its five minutes per episode, so watching this wouldn’t be that much of a waste of time, but a waste is still a waste. Don’t bother. Why would you want to lock yourself in a room so that nobody can see what you are doing/watching, only so that you can watch something as weird as this? It’s just not worth it.

Plot Summary: The story centers around Ribbon-chan, a girl struggling with English who becomes a magical girl when she makes a contract with a self-described familiar named Toner. She aims to become a super heroine who can fill the Tokyo Dome arena with her singing and dancing.
