Majin Bone

The name is kind of deceiving, don’t you think? I immediately thought of Dragon Ball Z when I first heard about it. I thought it was another character or something. But no, it was another anime adaption that left a strange impression on me. I have no idea what I can expect from this.

Majin BoneI have no serious complaints about the artwork. I liked that brother-sister combo and how the protagonist’s sister lives with him and is also his homeroom teacher. That should be quite amusing, especially since she seems to have a free-spirited type of personality that doesn’t mind to tease her little brother.

The story… No idea. I honestly have no idea what it’s about. The pilot was vague and not very explanatory. I just hope that future battles will be better than the one I saw during the first few minutes. The sound effects were rubbish, cheap and even a little background music was too much to ask for.

Do I recommend Majin Bone? I honestly can’t. I have no idea what to think of this. The first episode left a bad impression on me. That brother-sister comedy combo is the only thing that really interested me. The rest is all kind of vague. I suggest you check out the first two episodes.

Plot Summary: A young boy comes across a supernatural stone that allows him to transform into some kind of super hero while being watched by a group of strange individuals. Yeah… That’s pretty much all I know.
