Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to
I would feel no shame by saying that the only thing wrong this show is that it’s only thirteen minutes per episode (OP and ED included). I could totally see myself watching twenty minutes of this every week for the next twelve weeks, no problem.
The artwork is nothing special. It doesn’t have to be. Its key feature definitely isn’t the artwork. Still, it’s by no means bad. I think Sena, Yuuki’s editor, is absolutely brilliant. A loli editor that’s self-conscious about her little breasts… Definitely worth watching if the material is properly used!
The story is the best thing here. It’s not complicated, it’s not flashy and it’s certainly not that hard to imagine. It’s pure genius. Just a slice of life piece about the life of an ero mangaka and his colleague and friends.
I truly do recommend this. I’m sure comedy fans and perhaps slice of life fans wouldn’t mind watching this at all. I laughed and laughed during those ten glorious minutes. It really is too bad that it’s so short.
Plot Summary: The story depicts the work-life of a perverted mangaka, Aito Yuuki, and his assistant, Ashisu Sahoto. Constantly pressured by his editor and lacking experience with girls, Aito asks Ashisu to act as a reference.
