Only in Japan. This anime is a bit along the lines of Death Note, which was a good anime. For some reason I was reminded about Eden of the East, mainly because of those special cell phones. I honestly do believe that’s a good thing, Eden of the East was very exciting to watch, and it received a lot of good reviews, which is probably why they made another movie of it.
The artwork is good. I can’t imagine people complaining about the artwork. It’s the story that does it, it’s very strange so they will have to pull out a lot of stuff out of their arsenal to keep this one exciting.
Still, I liked it, despite the weird start. I have a lot of faith in this one, because a lot of great animes are born from weird and farfetched stories. I think it’s those weird twists in the story that will keep this anime interesting.
