Naruto Shippuuden episode 246

You know, it’s been a long time since I’ve been excited about Naruto Shippuuden. It’s because of those damned fillers; they were stupid, pointless and uninteresting. Okay, so this episode wasn’t entirely filled with action, but it’s so worth it! I haven’t seen a Naruto episode this good in a long time.

The episode starts with the conflict between Naruto and Karuma, or more commonly known as the Nine Tails. Naruto’s objective was to capture the Nine Tails by getting a hold of his Chakra. The Nine Tails was very angry and did everything within its power to stop Naruto from accomplishing his goal. Karuma doesn’t want to be controlled, especially not after all his previous containers turned out to be bad people who only saw him as a source of incredible power.

However, Naruto is different and he knows it. He is still in denial, even though he knows that Naruto is different from the rest. But it’s fine, Karuma will come to accept Naruto eventually, that’s only to be expected. Naruto has always been hated by everyone, but as time passed he conquered all of their hearts, their trust and their loyalty. It’s only a matter of time before Naruto, who seems to be a natural born leader, frees Karuma from all of his hatred.

Anyway, the reason why I found this episode so great is because of the fact that they finally showed us more about Naruto’s mother, Kushina Uzumaki. It seems that she was the village dropout as well, just like Naruto. She worked hard to gain people’s acceptance, again; just like Naruto. But she never had to fight for Minato Namikaze, also known as Naruto’s father. Minato has always had eyes for her, he even looked passed the fact that she had red hair. In fact; he loved her hair.

Who knew that a couple of dropouts could end up having such a huge influence on the village? Sure, both Kushina and Minato may have passed away due to unfortunate circumstances, but their legacy will continue to live on through Naruto. They left behind a godsend of a son, the same son who is about to face the world’s biggest threat ever in the hope of saving millions of innocent lives.

Naruto will is about to face yet another difficult challenge. He will have to find a way to control the Nine Tails’ Chakra while fighting against all that hatred. He isn’t alone, his friends and family are right beside him, helping him as he tries to gain control. Failure is not acceptable, as the Nina Tails could break free if he should fail. Also, Naruto has to hurry up as well, it’s not easy trying to control that much evil Chakra, but he’s on a tight schedule. The war between the united villages and Madara could start any day now.

Yes, time is of the essence, but Naruto cannot afford to be sloppy either. One false move and it’s all over. Like I said, I loved this episode, but I really hope that they’re going to show us a little bit more about Naruto’s parents. Sure, I would like to see Naruto in his Kyuubi mode too, but come on, how many chances do we get when it comes to Naruto’s parents? Either way; I’m once again excited to watch Naruto Shippuuden, I can’t wait to see what happens next week!
