Naruto Shippuuden episode 256

Oh snap! I guess the time has come for war in Naruto Shippuuden. That ending gave me goose bumps all over. There’s one thing that worries me though; I’ve seen a few things that aren’t according to the manga’s story. For the love of god, please don’t alter the story! The manga is doing absolutely great, so there’s no need to edit anything.

The episode starts with Naruto and Bee. They finally arrived at their final destination, where they will be kept safe until the war is over. Bee continued to teach Naruto all about chakra control, how he can use Karuma’s chakra more effectively and more importantly; how he can use it in a controlled state, without him being overcome by that much power. It all comes down to this; Naruto has the means to control Karuma’s chakra, but he has a difficult time grasping it. The Nine Tail’s chakra is just too powerful, so Naruto has to hold back a whole lot in order for him to carefully use it without any mishaps.

Meanwhile Kabuto was using Yamato’s body to empower all of Zetsu’s parasites with Yamato’s Wood Element, the first Hokage’s famous element, in order to win the war. I’m still not sure what Kabuto is after, but he would only help others if there was something in it for him, so I’m keeping a close eye on that guy. The thing that shook me most, even though I already knew about it, was when he used his Edo Tensei to resurrect all sorts of powerful Shinobi, including the former Akatsuki members. This was pretty badass, but there’s a slight glitch in his plan, and I’m sure that we’ll all see why soon enough. This is it people, it’s about to start!

The next few episodes will be a very big struggle for the allied Shinobi forces. A lot of them will encounter a few enemies and friends who they thought were dead, only to kill them all over again. It’s going to be a dreadful situation, especially for the intel unit. Also, I think it’s about time for Naruto to realize the current situation and join his friends and allies to fight off Tobi’s army.

To think that this all happened in just a few episodes, wow. The only thing that I’m concerned about is that I still can’t see what Kabuto’s up to. He’s obviously been scheming for quite some time, I mean… Why else would he have ‘collected’ all of those bodies? It may be a wild shot in the dark on my part, but I think that he’s after the power of the tailed beasts. I don’t see any other reason for him to take part in this war, other than wanting more and more power.
