Naruto Shippuuden episode 329
Its times like these that this particular nerd is really happy he’s alive. This episode, although not unexpected at all, was absolutely spectacular! There were a few (necessary (!)) recaps and a whole lot of action and drama. Very well done!
This episode started out with an OP right away, giving me the impression that they really didn’t want to waste any precious time this week. It started with a moving scene where Son Goku finally opened up to Naruto, just like Kurama. He even shared some of his power before Tobi forced him back into that god-awful statue.
Normally I’d skip that, but this time it’s somewhat important. It finally allowed Kurama to make up his mind. He finally decided to help Naruto in his quest for peace because he believes that Naruto a lot like the Sage of the Six Paths. This allowed for a tremendous boost in Naruto’s overall power now that Kurama is willingly fighting by his side.
The Sage of the Six Paths is known throughout the world as a legendary god that founded ninjutsu and that defeated the Ten-Tails. He is the man that became the very first Jinchuuriki. He is also the very same person that separated the Ten-Tails into nine different creatures and sealed the Ten-Tails’ body into a huge stone that they now call their moon.
Naruto’s fascinating story never seizes to amaze. The author truly is a genius. I cannot wait to see what Naruto will do with his new-found power. I’m pretty sure Tobi is unpleasantly surprised now that Naruto became more than just a little thorn in his shiny red eye. The next episode promises to be just as great as this one, I can’t wait!
