Naruto Shippuuden episode 339
Yet another great episode! This is too good to be true. You don’t often get this many great episodes in a row… I have a bad feeling about this. Don’t be surprised if starting next week we’ll have to endure a couple of fillers.
I must admit that I still get annoyed whenever I see Madara. I’m amazed and annoyed by him at the same time. How can it be that one character can be this overpowering? The five Kages still are no match for him. How is that even remotely possible? The Kages are supposed to be the village’s strongest Shinobi, yet all five of them can’t do a thing about Madara.
That brings me to the next topic: Hashirama Senju, the first Hokage that established the Hidden Leaf village with Madara, Tsunade’s grandfather and quite possibly also the first person to possess the ability to use Wood Style Jutsu. He was the one that defeated Madara. I cannot begin to imagine the kind of abilities that he has that enable him to do such a thing.
The only thing wrong about this episode is that Itachi is probably gone for good this time. I can’t see him being resurrected again. Why would they? Itachi lived a horrible life in order to ensure the safety of this village and his little brother, Sasuke. Knowing that Danzo is dead was the only thing that managed to put a smile on my face.
Mind you, that scene where Itachi was about to kill his own parents was really heavy. To hear his parents say that they love him and that they’re proud of him, even though they knew that their own son was about to take their lives, was absolutely tragic. I don’t care what any Naruto geek says, Itachi always was and always will be the greatest character on this show.
