Naruto Shippuuden episode 343
Oh, so we’ve finally arrived at this point in the story, huh? Well, I suppose episodes like these might give the author a bit more time to get ahead with his manga. I wouldn’t call them great but the episodes certainly are watchable.
So they learned that Naruto’s Kamui and Tobi’s ability to disappear and reappear are somehow connected. They learned that if Kakashi used his Kamui on objects or on people that he could finally deal a blow to an almost undefeatable opponent. You can’t defeat what you can’t touch. This led to a brilliant strategy that allowed Naruto to land a critical blow, thereby revealing Tobi’s true identity to the world, although Kakashi had his suspicions from the start, I think. He must’ve known that there really was only one way for their abilities to be linked somehow. He’d be stupid if he didn’t.
So… Obito Uchiha, huh? Kakashi’s former teammate and best friend. The guy that give one of his Sharingan to Kakashi before he supposedly died in order to help protect Rin, their beloved friend. Kakashi failed, Obito turned bitter and is planning to ‘modify’ the world to honour Rin’s memory (or perhaps bring her back).
Quite frankly, I don’t think Obito wants to bring Rin back. He would’ve learned the Edo Tensei if that’s what he wanted. He just lost his mind and thinks that he can solve the world’s problem by trying to control each and every person in the world via his ocular powers. I don’t think I have to explain that the story is about to get so much, much better. The only thing that could make it even better is Itachi’s presence, although that’s probably not going to happen ever again.
