Natsuiro Kiseki

So the pre-air episode has been streamed, huh? I’ll be very honest with you guys; I was not actually waiting to see this anime. I read about it in the spring chart, but that’s it. The plot didn’t sound interesting or unique at all, but you can’t judge a book by its cover, which is why I was serious when watching this episode.

The artwork is nothing special. I think that Ano Natsu de Matteru, another anime that you could compare this to, looks a lot better. I see room for improvement, that is certain, but it does look promising. It’s no bother to watch at all, but it’s not exactly something that would make you sit and wait all week.

The story left me a little bit confused. It’s a strange way to start a first episode, I think, but that is also what made it a little more interesting. The story, as it is now, looks like a relaxing anime with a hint of supernatural occurrences. Also, I believe that the main characters are a bit too stereotypical. I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with that, but it’s definitely not unique.

I won’t recommend this, for now. The first episode was a bit uninteresting. However, this post would’ve been a lot more negative if it weren’t for that ending. Let us just say that I’m reserving judgement. I’m positive that there are a lot of people out there that enjoyed the first episode, but I’m still sceptical about Natsuiro Kiseki. We’ll just have to see what happens.

Plot Summary: Natsumi, Saki, Yuka, and Ringo are best friends. They’ve grown up in an old agricultural town, experiencing everything together, both happy and sad. But one summer, they are visited by a miracle.

  1. No need to reserve judgement. This show is completely worthless. You actually hit the nail on its head when you said that the characters are too stereotypical. I don’t like that, well that and the fact that the story is totally dull and boring.

    • i think that you are overreacting just a little bit

it has only just begun. who knows what will happen next week? drop the show if you still feel that way after having seen next weeks episode.
