Natsume Yuujinchou Shi

I’ve been waiting for this one. I enjoyed watching the third season a lot, so I have high hopes for this one.

The first thing that caught my eye was how certain things had changed. Now, I for one am not a man happy with change, but this could actually work.

The story is still pretty much the same, the characters are still pretty much the same and the artwork is still as amazing as ever. I still randomly laugh when I see that fat cat frolicking around.

I think the success of this show lies within its story. The story’s foundation has changed very little over these last couple of seasons. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, I mean… Why change something that seems to work awesomely, right?

This season is no exception; the first episode was a lot of fun to watch. I think I can safely say that we can expect to see yet another successful season!

Plot Summary: Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits surround him. Containing the names of these spirits, a binding contract was formed between the spirits and the owner of the book. Now, Natsume is determined to free the spirits and dissolve the contracts. With the help of a spirit cat, his days are filled trying to return the names to these spirits.
