I wasn’t happy when the first season aired. I mean, yes, I think the manga deserves an anime adaption, but when it finally arrived… Let’s just say that I felt somewhat betrayed.
Now, some of you might wonder why I felt betrayed. Well, I can only blame the artwork for that. The characters look so damn strange and the artwork is not at all smooth or visually appealing to me. It, for me at least, is very difficult to watch and enjoy.
Nothing wrong with the story though. It’s a good story. A lot of fans say that it’s a pointless story where nothing really happens and where things just go in a loop. I cannot deny that, but I still think it’s quite enjoyable.
I for one will probably not watch this, just like the first season. I will stick with the manga. But hey, see for yourself if this anime adaption of Nisekoi is worth watching.
