Noragami Aragoto episode 04

What a terrific episode! They explained so much during this week’s episode that a lot of my questions were answered. I am so glad that Noragami is back again. This season is rather disappointing if I look at some of the other titles (mainly anime shorts).

[Ohys-Raws] Noragami Aragoto - 04 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_00.44_[2015.10.24_00.38.37]I kind of hate how Yato is being manipulated. I mean, we all knew that he had a rough past, seeing as he wielded that evil Regalia back in the day, but now it’s all starting to make sense. Why would a supposedly pure-evil god suddenly turn over a new leaf? It wouldn’t make any sense. Someone must’ve knocked some sense into him, but there’s no real proof of that. He simply made some bad choices and some good, one of which was to help one of Bishamon’s oldest Regalia to kill all of Bishamon’s Regalia, whom ended up becoming phantoms, in order to save her life.

[Ohys-Raws] Noragami Aragoto - 04 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_22.23_[2015.10.24_00.39.28]It is finally clear. We know now what happened to Bishamon’s Regalia and why Yato did what he did. He never denied that he killed all those Regalia, but he never defended himself either. He just carried it with him all this time. It’s like he was hell-bent on playing the bad guy even though he could’ve just told Bishamon (and other gods and Regalia) what really happened.

Nevertheless, Yato has slowly fallen into yet another trap set by his old Regalia and Bischamon’s corrupt Regalia and I hate how he’s still oblivious. It seems to have gotten to the point where his partner, Yukine, seems to have gotten injured or possibly even killed, although the latter is highly unlikely. One thing, at least, is certainly; they left us with one hell of a cliff-hanger and I am dying to see what happens next.
