One Week Friends episode 06

A very good episode that could’ve been so much better if only Yuuki had his way this time. A lot of progress has been made during this episode. It won’t be long before Koari-chan recovers from her mental illness (that’s what it is, people).

It would’ve been brilliant if they actually ended up alone in Kaori’s room. I’m really regretting Saki’s appearance. I think she’s a hilarious character with a very interesting personality, but she really screwed up big-time when she forced herself upon Kaori. How could there be any progress between Kaori and Yuuki if Saki invited herself and if Yuuki forced Shougo to come as well, even though Shougo is arguably one of the brightest students in their school from what I could tell.

[HorribleSubs] One Week Friends - 06 [720p].mkv_snapshot_15.24_[2014.05.12_23.33.00]Let’s get this whole character business over with first… I am not a huge fan of Shougo. Yes he seems kind of cool and bad-ass, but he has not the social type. He does not seems to talk to people unless he has to. I kind of like that in a way, a character that only talks when he has to. Saki on the other hand is just too unpredictable. You never know what she might say yet, which makes her kind of interesting and risky.

I’m actually a little glad when Kaori’s mother, whom has an interesting personality herself, told Yuuki a bit more about what happened to Kaori when she was little. Yes, she had an accident, but it seems that Shougo was right all along. Kaori cannot remember her friends because of something that happened in her best, not because of that accident. Her mind is protecting her from something. All that’s left is for Yuuki to find out what.
