One Week Friends episode 11
I knew it! It seems that I was right all along. Kaori became mentally ill when her old “friends” ganged up one her like girls usually do to each other. Such a cliché and predictable end result… I had hoped for a little bit more.
This is one of the many reasons why men will always be superior to women. It’s a scientific fact that men are far more efficient and productive than women. Also, a lot of women grab the first chance they get to badmouth one or more of their friends. I noticed this, too. And still a lot of them are fighting for equality… Yeah right.
It annoys me to no end how we are constantly taking steps back. Kaori loses her diary and her memories of her friends; we take a step back. Kaori meets an old friend of hers that turns out to be a bit more important than originally anticipated, after which she loses her memory again and things become hectic; we take yet another step back. When will this end?
I regained a little hope when Yuuki and Hajime went out to meet with a couple of friends from back in the day. This was when Kaori was still a normal girl and still had a good relationship with Hajime. That’s when we learned the truth about what happened to Kaori, which is something I already saw coming since the sixth or seventh episode. Kaori was ambushed by a couple of jealous friends because she was very close friends with Hajime even though there was another girl out there that liked him. Their jealousy led to Kaori’s accident and current mental condition. The good thing about this episode is that I got to see a young and adorable Kaori-chan.
