I see this as this season’s Tokyo Ghoul. Is that wrong of me? I don’t think so. Sure, this didn’t get my heart going like Tokyo Ghoul did, but god did I love the first episode. I’d have to be a complete fool if I didn’t write about this.
The artwork is great, which is not all that surprising since Madhouse is working on it. The characters look cool, the sceneries look nice and I am loving those parasitic creatures. It makes you wonder about what kind of person would come up with that sort of thing.
Story-wise this is gold. Pure gold. I can safely say that there is nothing like it out there, which is quite rare nowadays. Almost everything has been done at least once in one way or another. This is just interestingly unique.
If there is any part of you that likes action, horror or sci-fi creatures, not necessarily in one show, than this is definitely for you. It is very interesting and the story is ever so promising. I have only seen the first episode and I already want more.
