Psycho-Pass 2 episode 11
My post sure is late today. Had company over in order to help us make lots of yummy stuff for Christmas. Needless to say that my belly will never be empty during these days. God I love this time of the year.
Anyway, I must say that I am not really satisfied with this ending. I am not satisfied at all. I expected a lot more from this second season, and let it be said that I don’t think a third season will be forthcoming any time soon. A lot of fans did not respond well to this apparently, which is not at all surprising in my humble opinion.
Nothing actually got finished, you know? Sure, some of the bad guys are dead, but the funny thing about that is that there’s always a new one waiting just around the corner. That is why I do not acknowledge this is a proper ending, despite it being a pretty good episode. It should’ve gone a little bit differently, that’s all.
I already knew that Kamui was not the one that killed Akane’s grandmother. He may resort to violence in order to achieve his goals, but Akane was never really his target. She posed no immediate threat. She merely wanted justice served, which is something he used to his advantage all this time. It became obvious to anyone that that insane enforcer was the one that killed her grandmother in order to make Akane go bad, which failed miserably. In the end Akane just went back to serving the Sybil System and that insane enforcer got what he deserved.
