I didn’t really have high hopes when I first started watching this after I read a little bit about it. It’s not really hyped and I can understand why. It’s an okay show to watch and all, but by no means would I ever watch it again in the future.
The artwork is alright. Very plain characters and you kind of already know that the artwork isn’t Rail Wars’ strongest point. You have your average busty heroine and your tsundere heroine. You have your average weak protagonist with a big heart and another protagonist with a smaller heart but bigger muscles.
Story-wise I would give this a seven. It’s pretty original and could prove to be quite interesting, but do I really want to see twelve weeks’ worth of train anime? I’m GameDemon, not Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory.
Do I recommend this? Maybe to train and action fans, but it ends there. There seems to be a reasonable amount of action and I must admit that I didn’t get bored when watching the first episode, so yeah… Definitely worth checking out.
