Recorder to Randoseru Mi

A third season? It’s not that I mind or anything, but there’s never really that much to see here. It’s not that every episode is roughly three minutes long, but the story, too, gets boring after only a few episodes. That’s the problem with this show. To think it got another season…

Recorder to Randoseru MiThe artwork is still very much the same. It’s surprisingly good for an anime short, and it is also the reason why I watched the first season in the first place. Anime shorts are usually known for their low budgets.

The story is definitely the problem here. It’s always the same thing. Nothing ever really happens, nothing ever really changed and you pretty much already know the ending before you even start watching. Atsumi is always the sweet guardian angel and Atsushi is always the misunderstood younger brother because of his height.

Do I recommend this? No, not really. It’s just three minutes every week and you might actually get a laugh out of it every now and again, but I don’t think that this is something that’s worth considering.

Plot Summary: Miyagawa Atsushi is an 11-year-old boy who is 180 centimeters tall. Since he has a grown-up looking build but acts his age, he has always been running into troubles. On the other hand, his 17-year-old elder sister Atsumi is only 137 centimeters tall. Even though she has a childish looking build, Atsumi takes good care of Atsushi.
