Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru

This has got to be one of the most morbid anime I have ever seen. Horror is one thing and dark stories is another, but this is just insane. It’s all about death, murder and rotting corpses ‘nd stuff. It’s hard on the eyes.

Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga UmatteiruI suppose the artwork is alright, which makes it even harder to watch since it’s pretty detailed. But do I really want to look at bones and rotting corpses for the next few months?

The story is beyond dark. It’s safe to assume that every episode is going to be about dead bodies, skeletons and god only knows what. I’m not really into that stuff personally, but horror and gore fans might get a real kick out of it.

Go ahead if you are truly a fan of this sort of thing. It’s really not my cup of tea since there’s hardly any action.

Plot Summary: Shōtarō Tatewaki is a normal high school student with a serious demeanor who likes to show off his girlfriend Sakurako Kujō. Sakurako is an extraordinarily beautiful woman in her mid-20s from a rich family who loves “beautiful bones.” The two live in the city of Asahikawa in Hokkaido, and they get involved in various incidents regarding bones.
