Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo episode 06

An interesting episode this turned out to be, considering not much progress was made. The strange thing is, the story is getting vaguer with each passing episode. Everyone is going his/her own way, so are we supposed to follow each and every little thing? I don’t know, but I’m not sure I like it.

This episode, too, focussed on Mashiro, or rather how difficult it is to take care of her. Nanami, having volunteered to take care of the helpless Mashiro, was filled with regret like never before. She wanted to take care of Mashiro, merely so that Sorata wouldn’t get the chance to do anything funny. She wanted to continue hard part-time work. She wanted to continue with her studies. She wanted everything at once.

It had gotten to a point where Nanami finally got an audition as a voice actress. But, as everyone expected, she collapsed because she was too tired. It’s her own fault. What comes around goes around. I’m a big fan of doing everything myself, but there are times where you need other people’s help. One can only hope that Nanami has realized that once and for all.

However, the headache doesn’t end there. It seems that Jin has decided to go to a different college. He, for obvious reasons, has also decided to not tell Misaki about it. Misaki-chan would probably follow him there if she was told that he was going to a different school. Hell, she would probably slap Jin at least once for this.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo is rapidly becoming too complicated. Every character wants a different thing. Not just that, it’s also becoming very unfair, especially to Misaki. It’s very hard to try and understand these characters, which makes understanding the story just a little bit harder for a lot of viewers. I’m sure that there are people out there that think that this is about a group of troubled teenagers. Those people are wrong.
