Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo episode 18

See? I told you that Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo follows the same pattern. It’s always an episode or two of happiness before an episode or two of drama and failure. It makes the story pretty predictable at times. Too bad…

[rori] Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - 18 [FCD5A64D].mkv_snapshot_04.59_[2013.02.13_21.59.13]We just had a pretty good episode last week, but it’s time for some more drama. You see, all the characters are working on their futures. It’s a big deal, because you only get one chance to do it right. A second chance is very rare, so it’s now or never. Working on your future is a lot harder when you have to deal with the people around you.

We all know that Misaki and Jin still haven’t really made up. They’re still in that awkward stage where both of them have high hopes for one another. That’s fine, but things get tense when those expectations aren’t met. Jin’s ability to write a good script didn’t live up to Misaki’s expectations, and that’s probably one of the main reasons that made their relationship so unstable.

[rori] Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - 18 [FCD5A64D].mkv_snapshot_20.13_[2013.02.13_22.00.14]It’s been a dramatic ride, that’s for sure. They always start off with the drama and try to end things with a happy ending. Sorata is still as hopeless as ever, Nanami is still not honest about her feelings, Mashiro is still doing her best to make Sorata hers, and Sorata’s little sister didn’t get accepted into the high school of her choosing. She failed. There are no do-overs, so she will have to go to a local high school, which as something her family already predicted. Still, they tried to end it in a good way as Jin and Misaki finally got through that awkward barrier, made up and they finally became a couple. I suppose it’s going to be the same next week; drama at first with the possibility of a happy scene at the end.
