Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Season 2

No. Hell no. This BL crap just isn’t for me, it’s bad enough that I caught glimpses of the first season because my girl likes it, but now there’s a second season? Good god, what fresh hell is this?

And it gets worse; one of my best friends actually likes this anime. Does that give me the right to be suspicious? I would like to think that it does. When you read about the plot, see the pictures and actually watch the first episode then you know that, as a man, you shouldn’t be watching this stuff comfortably.

The artwork, from what the bits I’ve seen, looks pretty decent so no complaints there. It’s the story that does it for me, it’s not something I would find myself watching, not even when I’m bored to death. If you like boy love then go for it.

Plot Summary: Even though Ritsu Onodera hates to rely on family connections, he winds up taking a job as an editor at his parents’ company, Marukawa Books. To his chagrin, he’s assigned to the shoujo manga department in spite of having no interest or experience in it. And on top of that, he has an awful first impression of his high-handed editor in chief, Masamune Takano. What comes after is a story of first love full of tears and laughter.

  1. Straight guys can like yaoi and straight girls can like yuri. Try to have a more mature opinion, please.

    • Right… And those guys and/or girls are either called gay or bi. Have you ever seen a straight male look at guy on guy action? I think not.

I, however, do believe that my post was on the level. There are no childish, discriminating or even insulting remarks here.

I merely expressed my opinion on the matter. I do have that right, do I not?
