Seraph of the End episode 02
I decided to give this a chance since it’s really speaking to me. It has a dark element but also a funny, light element. The main reason why I decided to write about this is because I was waiting for the second episode. I actually waited for it.
So things took a different turn when I suddenly see that same boy that survived the vampires’ mealtime in school. I mean, yes, I saw him in action and defeat that strange monster as though it was nothing whilst his colleagues were cowering in fear and waiting for backup, but I simply don’t understand that school part. Is it really to turn him into a team player? Because I agree with that kid; he doesn’t really need friends in a world that’s currently overrun by vampires and monsters, and where humanity has been reduced significantly. I’m just saying…
So yeah; it’s strange. The guy would be better of training or learning new skills than to learn about history, or how to multiply or spell. Power suddenly becomes a lot more important when your race has come very close to being exterminated. You’d want to enlist as many of those soldiers as possible to fight off the vampire and those monsters.
And the future? Well, I’m sure that Yuuichirou will be fine now that he’s made a friend. He achieved what was asked of him so now he can move on to training and missions, yes? I certainly don’t mind following his school life every now and then, seems funny, but I am more interested in the action and finding out where those vampires and monsters come from.
