Shiba Inuko-san

What the hell did I just watch? Why!? How!? Why does this even exist? There are just so many questions, and all because of some strange two-minutes-per-episode anime. I actually read about this show when the spring chart came out, but I thought that the writer had it all wrong. My god…

The artwork looks pretty decent. But the characters, come on… It’s a show about a talking dog. What’s more, the other (human) characters in this show treat this dog as an actual human being. I suppose it would look cute to certain people, but I just find it a little bit disturbing.

I don’t want to say much about the story. Hell, I don’t even think there is one. It’s a story about a talking dog’s school life. Little children may love this sort of stuff, but I don’t think that that’s what they were aiming for when they got high on crystal meth to create this. Listen up kids, call for an ambulance when you encounter a talking dog, because someone may have put drugs in your Sippy cup.

No. Just a plain no would suffice. I absolutely do not and will not recommend this show. First of all, it’s merely two minutes long. Those two minutes are more than enough to mess up your mind by filling it with crap. Oh, and did I mention that this show is about a talking dog? Give me a break, Japan…

Plot Summary: Shibainuko-san is a 14-year-old girl who looks exactly like a Shiba Inu dog. One of her classmates, Ishibashi Chako, wonders about her appearance, but no one else thinks it is strange.
