Shingeki no Kyojin episode 05

Hello, Japan? The offer still stands, you know? I’m willing to trade my girlfriend to be able to watch the remaining episode of Shingeki no Kyojin in a row. She is a bit run-in, I admit, but I’m sure you’ll agree that she gives great mileage.

[gg]_Shingeki_no_Kyojin_-_05_[4665F043].mkv_snapshot_05.13_[2013.05.06_23.10.04]Do you know what I love most about this show? I love it how they don’t hesitate to kill off key characters. I love it how they just let the characters get killed, and it doesn’t matter if they’re really good friends with one or more of the main characters either. They just let them get eaten or torn to bits. I absolutely love that!

I also love how some of the characters, like that old army commander, prioritize things. That old guy didn’t hesitate to leave that “noblemen” to fend for himself in order to help the rest of the soldiers in their desperate struggle to defend their city. I’m willing to bet that the titans would get a run for their money if all soldiers were like that, instead of being like Armin, a pathetic coward.

[gg]_Shingeki_no_Kyojin_-_05_[4665F043].mkv_snapshot_21.31_[2013.05.06_23.11.34]Do you guys also want to know what I hate most about this show? A hint: I already told you (kind of). The answer: Armin. I absolutely hate that character. Not only do I hate him because of his cowardly personality, but also because Eren threw away his life in order to save his. That’s like killing a puppy to save a spider’s life. You just don’t do that.

Now, I have heard rumours about Eren returning as a titan, which sounds absolutely awesome, but to what end? Is Eren going to come back to eat the rest of his friends? Is he going to betray his fellow titans? Is he still going to end up with Misaka? Or will he simply find a way to go back to being human? Let me tell you something; I have over twenty different theories, each one crazier than the next, yet they’re all absolutely awesome. Oh dear god in the sky (No, I’m not actually religious), please let this week go by fast so I can watch the next episode ASAP!

Shingeki no Kyojin episode 05 screencaps

  1. Armin being a coward is understandable. It’s their first battle and he sees everyone die in an instant. He was also one of the physically weakest soldiers there so just imagine how hopeless you would feel if you saw soldiers stronger than you standing no chance against the titans. Reminds me of when Hannis lost his spine in the face of a titan. These things are horrifying and Armin felt the full despair of the situation.

Also, you can argue that Eren got everyone killed because he recklessly rushed out of formation. Going crazy is potentially a bigger offense than being a coward.

Unlike you,Icould’t contain the excitement and read off all the 43 chapters of the manga back to back, but still enjoying the anime.
Is it awesome or is it awesome
