Shingeki no Kyojin episode 17
Thank you, life. Thank you for being alive in this great age, an age filled with Shingeki no Kyojin. This episode was absolutely awesome, and to think that the next one might be even better… Chills are being sent down my spine, people.
The episode started out right away with a heap of action as everyone tried to stick to the plan; a simply formation with the most important people in the middle. The point of this was for soldiers to shoot flares in the air when titans are sighted, thus warning other soldiers in the area. Each flare had its own colour and its own purpose. The point, as I understood it, was to warn every one of incoming abnormalities, like titans that run or “think”. Little did they know that they had to deal with an intelligent titan, someone that could very well be like Eren, human but capable of transforming into a titan at will.
I saw how Armin somehow kept it together. Sure, he might’ve crapped himself when that titan pulled down his hood and had the opportunity to do god only knows what with him. Armin was completely at her mercy, yet she decided to take off without killing him. This led Armin to believe that the titan in question was looking for someone. Probably Eren.
Is that titan really looking for Eren? I don’t know. She could very well be looking for commander Erwin, seeing as he poses a threat, too. Although the chances of her looking for Eren are far higher. I’m actually kind of curious; is Eren strong enough to take her on? She’s fast, smart, experienced and strong. She’s the perfect opponent for him right now! I’m going to watch the hell out of Shingeki no Kyojin next week, oh yeah…
