Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii

Oh god… Why did the author have to call the heroine “Nike”? Every time I see her or hear her name I will start to think of brand name clothing. I don’t know, maybe I’m just being ridiculous (as usual). If so; ignore me and my weirdness.

Soredemo Sekai wa UtsukushiiI like what I saw. I quite enjoy that western feel, you know? Everything is still made of wood or poorly forged metals, everyone uses horses or other four legged animals to help them in their daily lives, and even the clothes they wear look pretty interesting.

The author must’ve thought; “hey, why don’t create something old and introduce a supernatural element to it?” – Well done! I think it works. It’s nothing special and it certainly isn’t magic from what I’ve seen. Just a regular princess that can make it rain, which is something farmers could certainly use during those days.

Will I watch this? I will, yeah. And I think you should give it a try, too. I rather enjoyed it. I believe there’s more to this than met the eye. That is why I will continue watching.

Plot Summary: Nike, the fourth princess of the Rain Dukedom, holds the power to call forth the rain. She travels to the Sun Kingdom to marry Sun King Livius for her country, despite her own reluctance in the matter. She soon discovers that the King, who conquered the world in only three years after his ascendance to the throne, is still a young boy. Despite being total strangers at first they start to understand one another and develop an emotional bond with each other.
