Space Brothers episode 80
I don’t know what to do here. I really, really want to stop writing about Space Brothers. It’s always the same thing nowadays. Training, a little bit of drama, followed by more training. It’s constantly the same pattern.
Prepare yourselves for an unmotivated post. I thought that it was going to be a good episode because that thing with Hibito being in Russia was over now, and that Mutta would once again regain control of the spotlight, but I’m still not very happy after being right about that. I simply expected so much more from this episode.
Remember how Mutta helped design a better way for buggies to ride on the moon? It was interesting. We need more of that. That’s the kind of thing that makes me want to keep watching and writing. Dealing with Hibito’s problems and that cartoon of his is just not worth my team, honestly. His problem is insignificant compared to Sharon’s.
I’m glad that Mutta was recruited for Lunar Training. The guy deserves it, I think. I’m also not surprised that two of his teammates were there as well. That’s the way it’s been from the very beginning, right? Mutta has never really been alone. He always had ‘friends’ around him. I’m not so sure that’s a bad thing.
Will I stop writing? I don’t know. This episode was by far better than the previous ones. It kept me entertained and it actually made me laugh a few times. They really have to make it interesting for me to stick around, because the realism in Space Brothers is what got me this far. It’s been very educational.
