Akame ga Kill! episode 23

Amazing episode. To think that the next one will end it all. Why did Akame ga Kill! not get twenty-five episodes? I bet all of the viewer’s would’ve loved to see another episode, especially since things just got really good.

[HorribleSubs] Akame ga Kill! - 23 [720p].mkv_snapshot_01.51_[2014.12.09_00.02.48]All hell broke loose. The emperor and his advisor unleashed their final trump card, an Imperial Arms unlike any other, supposedly the strongest of them all. This enormous machine-like suit was used to blow up part of the city in seconds. It would’ve wiped everything out of Tatsumi and that other dude weren’t fighting him off. That boy completely lost his mind. The only one that he still listened to was that evil advisor of his, which would be the last person on the planet that he should be listening to. He just needs to die quickly.

[HorribleSubs] Akame ga Kill! - 23 [720p].mkv_snapshot_19.13_[2014.12.09_00.03.11]Anyway, Tatsumi, finally getting a step closer to becoming a real man, took it upon himself to take action. He decided to protect the citizens at any cost. This forced him and his armour, which has adopted the name “evolving armour”, to reach a new level, giving Tatsumi more power and the ability to fly.

Did this actually kill Tatsumi though? They made it seem as though he was dead, but I know better. He is one of the favourites. This may be Akame ga Kill! and all, but that doesn’t mean that they will kill off one of the favourites. I believe that he isn’t dead and that they will kill that advisor and/or emperor and escape from Esdeath’s clutches once again.

Sword Art Online 2 episode 22

Okay, weird, very weird indeed. I may not have been paying close attention because I failed to see one thing that made this whole episode quite strange. I am probably going to watch this episode again tomorrow to make sure I didn’t misunderstand.

[HorribleSubs] Sword Art Online II - 22 [720p].mkv_snapshot_16.34_[2014.12.07_23.12.17]So Asuna went to see some ill girl after that purple-haired piqued her interest. I failed to understand the connection between Asuna and that girl. It is my guess that they were both Sword Art Online players or something like that, because I don’t think Asuna would involve herself for any other reason than something like that.

Asuna has plenty of problems of her own right now. I don’t think she has time to worry about other people if it wasn’t important. I just can’t see it right now though. Why care about that aids-infected girl? Her condition is terrible and heart-breaking, but no need to get involved. I’ll probably feel stupid about writing this episode after I had the change to watch that episode properly again.

Akame ga Kill! episode 22

So the final battle is about to begin, huh? Good.  Something tells me that this won’t be the last we see of Akame ga Kill! I have a feeling that we might get rewarded with yet another season in the future. Akame ga Kill! is growing in popularity.

[HorribleSubs] Akame ga Kill! - 22 [720p].mkv_snapshot_08.41_[2014.12.01_22.52.56]So the Jaegers suffered a minor setback once again. No problem. It’s not as bad as the revolutionary army. Night Raid has been suffering many great losses during the past few weeks. They lost members and Imperial Arms to Esdeath and her group of Jaegers. The only thing that the revolutionary army has got going for itself right now is that the citizens are rebelling against those in control. They no longer believe in the young king and his evil advisor and are now starting to side with the revolutionary army. Night Raid won’t get another chance like this.

[HorribleSubs] Akame ga Kill! - 22 [720p].mkv_snapshot_16.02_[2014.12.01_22.53.20]Akame and her long lost sister Kurome decided that it was time for them to settle things once and for all. Akame can easily win if she just ignores Kurome’s desperate attempt for closure. It is only a matter of time before Kurome dies anyway. I don’t see why Akame would have to put her life on the line in order to kill her sister a little bit earlier.

It has been twenty two weeks and I still fail to understand that fat advisor. I know its power that he wants. Absolute power. But I don’t understand some of his actions. I am sure that he wants to be king, but for some reason he needs that boy, especially now that he’s about to awaken Night Raid’s final enemy for this season. He is truly a strange character.

Sword Art Online 2 episode 21

This episode was just bad. What happened to the story? What is this point? Sword Art Online was climbing in ratings during the Death Gun episodes, but soon started going down again when nothing happened after that.

[HorribleSubs] Sword Art Online II - 21 [720p].mkv_snapshot_11.27_[2014.11.30_23.49.29]The one thing that confused me the most is how characters, especially Asuna, are still going with the drama. Kazuto sacrificed his in-game character to fight off other players so that Asuna and her new friends could go in and fight a boss. Asuna let out a painful scream as though she’d never see her beloved again. People no longer die, you know? Those days are over. What’s with the drama?

My only hope for a decent ending is that there’s something to that purple-haired character. She seems to call Asuna onee-san and Asuna has taken notice of it. There is something going on between those two and the only thing that I can come up with is that Asuna has a sister that she has never met before or something like that. Just as long as the story picks up again…

Akame ga Kill! episode 21

Oh come on… I don’t really mind if they kill off less popular characters like Chelsea, but now they’re actually killing off badass characters that I really didn’t want to see dead. Night Raid keeps getting smaller and smaller…

[HorribleSubs] Akame ga Kill! - 21 [720p].mkv_snapshot_03.28_[2014.11.24_23.02.55]First thing’s first; Budo died. Mine used up all of her power and may or may not have damaged/destroyed her Imperial Arms, Pumpkin, in order to finish off that cocky man. What bothers me is that it has been said that he could fight Esdeath on equal terms. Really? Is Esdeath so weak that she could get killed by Mine’s blast? Or does it basically depend on the kind of weapon one is using? Esdeath uses ice attacks and Budo uses electricity attacks. I can understand that Budo might have a bit of an edge seeing as water (and I’m pretty sure ice as well) conducts electricity, putting Esdeath in a rough spot. But no, I don’t think he could ever beat Esdeath.

[HorribleSubs] Akame ga Kill! - 21 [720p].mkv_snapshot_17.51_[2014.11.24_23.03.16]Susanoo is dead. Once again another great character had to be sacrificed so that Tatsumi, a whinny child that does not live up to his words, may be saved. That was not an equal exchange, even if Budo got killed. Susanoo is what made Najenda strong. Now she’s just another woman with abnormal strength and a fake arm that she can eject towards things. Not really much of a threat.

Night Raid only has five members now. Sure, the Jaegers only have four, but they have Chelsea’s Imperial Arms and Sheele’s Imperial Arms. God only knows how many more of those weapons they have. They just need to find suitable people to wield those weapons in order to outnumber Night Raid. Things are not looking good for Night Raid right now.
