You know, I hate Mondays in general. My dog died on a Monday. Monday reminds me that I have five more days of hard work before its weekend again. That’s why it’s so important for me to have a lot of enjoyable things to watch so that I’m motivated to keep going. This season’s Monday is just horrible…
Another kiddy anime pops up and yes, it involves cards. What is with the Japanese and their card games? I used to have much better toys. I remember BeyBlades, Flippo’s and marbles. Nowadays it’s all about small pieces of paper with Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh! or different kinds of characters on it.
The story? Meh. Boy gets transported to a game world where he will become friends with a special card. You know how it goes. I’m a sucker for overpowered main characters, but this just isn’t for me.
Do I recommend it? Yes, to kids. To adults? Not really. I honestly don’t see myself sitting in front of a screen watching Dragon Collection. No chance.
Plot Summary: Arata was just your normal high-schooler, until one day when things started to move. He gets entangled in a phone game called “Dragon Collection.” With his only redeeming quality being lucky, what can he do about conquering the World?Read More
Another kiddy anime, although slightly better than Hero Bank. I believe this was also adapted from a game, but you just can’t compare the two of them. If I were to pick one I would’ve definitely chosen this one.
The one thing that makes this so much better than Hero Bank is that this actually has a decent story. Sure, it’s been done to death, but it’s a decent story nonetheless.
Kids, eat your hearts out. It’s nice to look at, has a decent story and is packed with a lot of hilarious moments. This will definitely keep you entertained.
Plot Summary: The anime adaptation revolves around a young boy named Faiya Orega who loves Oreca competitions. One day, he is granted the power to summon real Oreca monsters due to the mysterious powers of the treasure chest Pandora. To protect the peace of the Oreca world, Faiya must fight the demon king who threatens the land.Read More
Dear mother of all that is holy… What is going on with this season’s Monday? It’s primarily kiddy crap that would only appeal to children or the weak-minded. You can clearly tell that this was adapted from a game.
The artwork is by far the show’s best feature. The characters all look quite unique, which is something that I really like to see in a show. It ends there. The rest is just so incredibly childish and lame that I actually start to think about the sort of (adult) person that would willingly watch something like this.
The story? No idea. The first episode was far too vague. Let’s face it; how good could the story of a 3DS game adaption possibly be? My hopes are really low.
Do I recommend this? Yes, to children. I always recommend people to download things that would shut up their children so that they could enjoy a bit of “free time”.
Plot Summary: In this world, players participate in “Hero Battles” using Bankfon Gs, which allows them to rent powerful hero suits and fight battles against other players, receiving power boosts from the public. Kaito Goushou, a young elementary school student who is always eager to help others, ends up hastily signing a contract to rent the powerful hero suit, Enter the Gold, from a mysterious priest named Sennen. However, he soon learns that this suit comes with a debt with 10 billion yen, which Kaito must now pay back by winning Hero Battles.Read More
Why!? Why must Japan keep on making crap like this? Just stop with the magical girls. It does nothing more than create pathetic guys that lose sight of the real world. I think there’s only one decent Mahou Shoujo anime in existence.
The artwork is just the worst. It’s like they took one can of girly crap, which is bad enough, and spiced it up with a whole crate of girly crap. No wonder women aren’t the superior sex. You couldn’t possibly be if you actually like this crap.
Is there a story present? Is there!? I honestly have no idea. The overwhelming artwork just made me lose focus. All I saw was little girls, little animals and a sh*tload of bling. It’s the story of thing you’d see in Justin Bieber’s room.
I do not recommend this whatsoever. I refuse to believe that there are a lot of girls and children out there that actually prefer to watch crap like this. I absolutely refuse it. I don’t have a lot of faith in humanity these days, but I have to believe that we’re better than this.
Plot Summary: Momona is a normal middle school girl who is longing to see her older nephew getting married. In a unexpected twist during his wedding day, she got transported to a new place called Jewel Land where she saw a lot of girls being mysteriously brought in. She then met a white rabbit as she introduced herself as Ruby, a Jewelpet who chose Momona to become a Ladyjewel Candidate alongside other girls in hopes to become a Lady Jewel, the highest ranked lady in Jewel Land. Momona herself hesitantly accepts the offer and she and Ruby decides to work together in order to achieve her goal. But standing in their way is both Lillian and her Jewelpet Partner, Rua who also wants the crown title.Read More
I postponed writing about this as long as I could, but I guess I might as well since there’s no Naruto Shippuuden this week. I didn’t bother watching season one and I cannot be bothered to watch season two either.
The artwork is just annoying. It’s standard quality for an anime short, yet it annoys the living hell out of me. It’s supposed to be funny and adorable, yet I can only think of it as dreadful and a waste of precious time.
I know that they made this show for kids, obviously. There are many anime for kids that even I find enjoyable, but this isn’t one of them. I can’t even imagine that kids would want to watch this. Even kids have some standards these days.
Don’t bother with this one. An anime adaption of this was a big mistake, not to mention another season of it. It’s like sentencing someone to hell twice.
Plot Summary: B.B.B. (Bottom Biting Bug), his family (who have just opened a Bitery), and friends (mostly other bottom biting bugs), encounter daily situations in which bottoms are bitten.Read More
