Naruto Shippuuden episode 270

This proved to be quite the amusing episode. I almost forgot how strong Ino, Shikamaru and Chouji could be. I do have some trouble with them using their parents’ legacy though. That formation was something their parents created. I think I would’ve rather seen something original.

So yeah, their battle against Kinkaku continued. Not that I can or would call it a battle though. It was suicide to attack Kinkaku head-on in that state. Buying time is one thing, but actually running to your grave is overdoing it a bit. Darui could only try his best to survive till reinforcements arrive, hoping that they could help him seal Kinkaku in that pot.

By this point Naruto had realized that something was wrong. He sensed the Nine Tails’ Chakra that surrounded Kinkaku’s entire body. It’s only a matter of time before that feelings eats him away, forcing him to break free from that island. And yes, I do believe that he’s basically a prisoner right now. Nobody told him anything about the war. They all just want him to stay where he is right now.

I think that Naruto Shippuuden is about to get better than ever. All the key characters are about join in and the story is about to take off. Hell, even Tsunade’s love of her life, and I don’t mean Jiraiya, has been revived by the Edo Tensei. Not to mention that Ino, Shikamaru and Chouji will have to fight their beloved mentor next week. That is something you just can’t miss; three students fighting their former teacher. Awesomeness guaranteed.

Naruto Shippuuden episode 269

Oh wow, the story just keeps getting better and better, doesn’t it? It shouldn’t be long now before Naruto realizes what’s going on and shows up to save the say, as usual. I am no longer in any hurry to watch Gaara and his father fight though. This episode has pretty much quenched that thirst.

This week’s episode revolved around two brothers from the Hidden Cloud village, Ginkaku and Kinkaku, or more commonly known in Naruto Shippuuden as the Silver Gold Brothers. They were very talented warriors that obtained dreadful weapons, weapons with the abilities to imprison people inside a gourd. And that’s not all. It seems that they fought against the Nina Tails once. They managed to enter his stomach and survive inside for two whole weeks. It seems that they obtained the ability, after having spent that much time inside of Karuma, to use the Nine Tails’ Chakra. That is nuts, really.

Darui is going to have to face a very dreadful opponent. It’s a good thing that he managed to seal away one of the brothers, because it would be impossible to fight against two Nine Tails clones. I doubt his laser circus, as awesome as that move may be, will be of any use to him during his battle against this Kyuubi clone. His best chance, I think, would be to use their weapons against him and seal him away too.

The next episode will be just as epic. I hope the next episode will be the one were Naruto will realize what’s going on, I really do. Besides, Naruto should already know the basics by now, as the foundation for his power has already been created. It’s getting really, really exciting now. I will get pissed if they surprise us again with a heap load of fillers, again.

Naruto Shippuuden episode 268

Awesome! The war has finally begun and it is looking good, really good. It is far too early to say who’s winning or not, but it’s looking pretty good right now for the Allied Shinobi Force. I was hoping to see the start of the battle between Gaara and his father, but I think that we will have to wait another episode or two to see something as awesome as that.

Things seem a little strange right now. Those white Zetsu’s seem way too weak. They were dropping like flies when being hit by kunai and whatnot. It just seems way too easy, and that’s actually what troubles me. I know that there were a lot of resurrected Shinobi mixed in with the white Zetsu’s. I know that. But will they really pose that big a threat? Take Neji’s father; he’s currently fighting against the head of the Hyuuga clan, also known as his older brother. They seem pretty evenly matched. Both are from the same clan, have similar fighting styles and Jutsu’s. Neji’s father has the edge though, seeing as he’s got an immortal body this time.

The rest of the episode focussed more on teaching us, the viewers, on the properties of elements and how a select few people can control multiple elements. Chakra elements that is. It was pretty informative and impressive at the same time. Do you realize that the people behind Naruto Shippuuden are actually providing us with all sorts of new stuff, even though the show is years and years old? Not many people can say the same thing about their work. That’s probably why Bleach was discontinued. It just wasn’t interesting anymore.

Frankly, I’m excited to see next week’s episode. It should be any day now that Naruto will find out what’s really going on and join his friends in battle. Don’t worry. I’m not going to spoil too much. I’ll just end this post by saying that we have a lot of good times ahead of ourselves. Naruto Shippuuden is about to rise to a whole new level of entertainment! Not like I expected anything else from Naruto Shippuuden, of course.

Naruto Shippuuden episode 267

Awesome! The war is finally starting and it won’t be long before loads of battles break loose. It is only a matter of time at this point. The strange thing is that Naruto Shippuuden’s ratings have slightly dropped, even though it’s about to get really good. It makes you wonder what is going on in the anime community.

Kabuto has been a busy bee, really. He has been reviving Shinobi after Shinobi. He even brought back four strong Kage’s, one of which turned out to be Gaara’s father. It seems that all of them still have their emotions and memories, although Kabuto will probably remove those as well when the time comes. I doubt that he wants to lose those Kage’s because of their emotions and memories, seeing as the Edo Tensei is still imperfect and can be cancelled when the resurrected become too emotional. I don’t really mind anymore. I would love to see the battle between Gaara and his father. I’m pretty sure his father will be surprised to find out that his son is the current Kazekage.

The rest of the episode was pretty much about the Allied Shinobi Forces’ strategies to win this war. Basically, they want to split Gaara’s forces to aid the forces at “Battleground A”, in order to ensure that they win their battle and can move on to the next battleground. This was based on the expectation that the Kage’s won’t attack when they see the enemy moving about, but will that really work? Keeping in mind that the Kage’s probably won’t move when they still have their memories and emotions. What if Kabuto removes those and the Kage’s become mindless puppets? I doubt that they would wait and see what the enemy would, but that they would just attack instead.

It’s all very complicated right now. It’s only a matter of time before the real story unfolds and Naruto joins the war. People like Kabuto will always lose, no matter what, so I’m not really worried about him and the threat that he poses right now. I’m more worried about those Kage’s. Gaara is strong, but not nearly strong enough to take on those four. I have actually been wondering for a while now whether Gaara is stronger, just as strong as or weaker than when he was a Jinchuuriki. I wonder…

Naruto Shippuuden episode 266

Yet another awesome episode, as to be expected. These last few episodes made me forget about all those ridiculous fillers that we had to endure to get to this point in the story. Was it worth it? I’m not sure, but I’ll tell you one thing; I am loving Naruto Shippuuden right now, that’s for sure.

I couldn’t wait to see Zabuza and his fellow swordsmen in action, and boy was it worth the wait. Those guys are ridiculously awesome, especially that guy with the long needle sword. He sort of reminds of one of those (cartoon) Daft Punk characters. That soon changed when I saw him fight though. I never knew that you could use a needle to pierce your opponents and to tie them to each other in the middle of a war.

Things didn’t look good for Kakashi and his allies. Their attacks connected, that’s not the problem. The problem was that it didn’t matter how many of their attacks connected. Those swordsmen were revived by the Edo Tensei, so they were immortal until someone managed to appeal to them emotionally or if the caster undoes the Jutsu, which is something Kabuto will never do, not willingly at least.

I was pretty convinced that Kakashi would lose a lot of allies this time. He had some strong ones with him, but it’s no use if they can’t kill their enemies. They get tired of killing immortals, so their speed and stamina drops, making them easy prey for those swordsmen. And the funniest thing is; those swordsmen weren’t even at full strength, seeing as some of them didn’t even have their legendary weapons.

Anyway, I know I just said all of that, but it doesn’t change the fact that Kakashi managed to ‘free’ two of them; Zabuza and Haku. I’m still not one hundred percent sure of how he did it, but it’s my guess that he somehow appealed to them by making them relive the past, allowing them to return to the afterlife (or something like that). It warmed my heart to see Kabuto so frustrated, well done Kakashi! The fight has only just begun though, as there are still quite a few of those swordsmen left. I wish I could control time, I really do…
