How can you not love this show? It’s so incredibly entertaining! Renge just draws you in with her cuteness and the rest just keep you amused by making you laugh. I am so happy that this is back again.
The artwork is just great. The characters look really nice and the level of detail is pretty darn high. Just looking at Renge-chan makes you want to watch at least a dozen more episodes, no matter what she says or does.
The story is truly as simple as it gets; just get a handful of characters and put them in a hick village and then throw in a city girl. The result? Pure entertainment. I’m not a slice of life fan at all, but this I could watch all day.
I honestly do recommend the Non Non Biyori series. You’ll laugh a lot as you enjoy following their amusing journey.
Plot Summary: With just five students (none in the same grade ), the four girls of the tiny Asahioka Branch School still enjoy watching cherry blossoms, playing in rivers, digging potato, and building igloos together. The pace is very slow yet enjoyable and heartwarming.Read More
This one is going to be a little tough to review seeing as the first episode was a little messy to be honest. You are given a vague idea of what the show is about, but it ends there. So many question marks pop up after seeing this episode…
The artwork is alright. I’ll be honest; Youko looks a little weird to be honest. She has green hair, orange eyes, I believe, and a red/blue outfit. It makes her look a little strange. But hey, I like what I’m seeing so far.
It’s an interesting story, I’ll give them that. Not entirely original I must admit, seeing as there are plenty of similar shows out there, but I’m sure it’ll be interesting enough to follow. Just pour in enough comedy and romance and it’ll be fine.
People that like romance and vampires will probably like this. Comedy fans might also enjoy this sort of thing. I’m giving the second episode another go.
Plot Summary: Asahi Kuromine has a crush on a cute girl named Yōko Shiragami. Shiragami just happens to be a vampire. Asahi cannot keep a secret, but he is determined to keep Shiragami’s secret anyways.Read More
I believe this to be similar to Aoharu x Kikanjuu in the way that I might stop watching this after a few episodes. The first episode was alright. There were scenes that I really enjoyed watching, but I feel as though this will become really uninteresting.
For me it’s the story that really bothers me. Something about it just doesn’t sit with me. I feel no urge to watch the next episode. The story made no impact whatsoever, not even when their so-called boss turned out to be their classmate.
This, too, will be something that you have to see for yourself. I honestly think it’s too seen to write this one off because of this uninteresting episode. I might follow it, I might not.

Okay, okay… World Trigger finally arrives. I heard that the manga is pretty good and I was also told that it was rather similar to the Naruto series in terms of comedy. I did not like to hear that. There is no place for comedy when characters are fighting seriously for dear life.
Anyway, the artwork is definitely not bad. How could it? Toei Animation always goes over the top and they are also pretty fanatic, if I am to believe the rumours, when it comes to details. A job well done there if you ask me.
I think the story is somewhat lacking, you know? We meet this guy, Osamu, who’s secretly a member of that mysterious organisation and he suspects the new kid, Yuuma, of being a member, too. Why would he need to suspect that? Doesn’t he know his colleagues? A few things just don’t make sense right now.
This is one of those shows that you need to check out for yourself. Right now I could really recommend it because I’m not very excited about it. It doesn’t seem like anything special, so just check out the first episode and decide for yourself.

But then suddenly Border appeared in the town, an organization that researches the technology of the Neighbors to protect this side of the gate. In a short time they built a huge base and became established as the line of defense against the Neighbors. One day a student named Yūma transfers to the same middle-school class as Osamu, a teenager who belongs to Border. I have no idea why people are talking so highly about Sakura Trick. I honestly don’t know. It’s slightly better than average, which is very generously put. It wasn’t all that entertaining and I’m not sure if I’m going to continue watching. Finishing the first episode was quite the challenge.
I’m actually put off by the artwork. Character design seems to be one of the few things that they actually worked on. The rest looks like a budget production. The details are bad, the scenarios are mediocre at best and the whole style is just too damn annoying.
Sakura Trick will have to rely on its story. A story about a relationship between two girls is quite rare. There aren’t many of those out there. If Sakura Trick will succeed somehow then it’s definitely because of the story.
Do you have a sweet and slippery hole between your legs? Do you not mind the sight of two girls getting together? Or are you just a guy that’s looking for some girl-on-girl action? This might be for you. I for one will have to wait for the second episode before I decide to either drop or watch this show.
Plot Summary: Haruka Takayama and Yuu Sonoda were inseparable during their junior high school years, but upon entering their senior high school, they end up being seated on opposite sides of the classroom.
