ERASED episode 10

This week is not starting out great. I was nearly late for work, ended up spilling my lunch and when I finally got home I ended up slightly burning dinner and then I forgot that I was out of pretzels as soon as I wanted to start watching backlogged anime.

[HorribleSubs] Boku dake ga Inai Machi - 10 [720p].mkv_snapshot_15.01_[2016.03.14_23.20.57]There is not much I want to say to be honest. There is only one thing I can say; I told you so. That homeroom teacher was the insane killer all this time. It became so painfully obvious after the third of fourth episode. Sure, I was still pretty hesitant at first, but after the sixth episode I already knew for sure that it was him. All the signs were there to be honest. I’m just surprised that the protagonist’s mother, whom seems to be able to read people like open books, didn’t pick up on any of that. Maybe she’s not as good as she has been portrayed.

Dimension W episode 09

I guess I should be happy with this episode? Should I be though? We are nearing the end once again and there’s still very little explained. At least we learned how that African kid ended up a cyborg. That was pretty cool.

[Ohys-Raws] Dimension W - 09 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_03.25_[2016.03.12_00.16.12]So afro-kun ended up being swallowed up by that sphere and ended up in a world where he relives his past. That means we’ll be learning more and more about this character and why there are people that think that he’s the key to all of it. Apparently he’s an important figure in the world of coils even though he himself has forgotten it.

It’s my guess that afro-kun worked security or something when the coils were first made. Either that or he stole one or more of those numbered coils when things went south with his girl. Ah, who knows? I watched this episode drunk so not all of it sunk in to be very honest. All I know for sure is that I like it when they showed us what happened in Africa during that time.

ERASED episode 09

The protagonist’s homeroom teacher actually seemed to have helped save that poor girl from that dreadful mother. It would almost make me want to change my opinion of that guy. I won’t. There’s something off. I’m positive it’s him.

[HorribleSubs] Boku dake ga Inai Machi - 09 [720p].mkv_snapshot_03.20_[2016.03.06_23.56.13]I won’t celebrate prematurely. Kayo seems to have been taken from her unstable, abusive mother and entrusted to her grandmother for the time being, but the problem isn’t solved yet. Kayo may have been saved (for the time being), but the killer is still on the loose and there are plenty of other kids that he can target. Satoru may have saved one girl but there were other cases during that time that he has to focus on now. Even if he manages to save those two other girls, he still has to find out who’s behind it so that the culprit doesn’t go after other kids.

[HorribleSubs] Boku dake ga Inai Machi - 09 [720p].mkv_snapshot_13.56_[2016.03.06_23.56.37]The worst part is that Satoru’s mother, whom supposedly can almost read people’s minds, is completely oblivious to the fact that she may have been helping a killer by making his ‘hobby’ a little bit easier. Even she must’ve thought that there was something wrong when all that candy appeared out of nowhere, dispute him claiming that he yearns for it after giving up smoking.

I’m also a little bit worried that Satoru is going after the victims that he knows of and that he won’t think about the possibility of having changes the timeline, thereby forgetting to factor in the possibility of there being more and/or different victims now that he’s saved one of the girls. Now would be a good time for him to talk to his mother.

Dimension W episode 08

This episode certainly did not live up to my expectations. Yes, it was quite interesting in a way, but after last week’s build-up I expected a lot more, you know? Maybe it was just wrong for me to expect more than… this.

[Ohys-Raws] Dimension W - 08 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_21.46_[2016.03.04_00.44.48]Afro-collector arrived on the island alright, but things aren’t going as smoothly as they expected. People are being taken to that mysterious dimension and the characters that were supposed to help those Africans with their objective are now starting to turn on each other in order to make sure that someone else doesn’t walk away with the reward.

Things that were once “gone” are now coming back and things that were there are now “gone”. Not really sure how that works, but it will allow for quite a few interesting scenarios. I’m not really a big fan of afro-kun’s new digging friends, seeing as everyone has an ulterior motive in these stories, but I think we’ll see quite a bit of action with them around.

ERASED episode 08

The madness just won’t end, will it? Every time the protagonist gets a little bit closer to saving poor Kayo-chan something bad happens. Other kids get abducted and/or killed and it would seem as though Kayo-chan might be next.

[HorribleSubs] Boku dake ga Inai Machi - 08 [720p].mkv_snapshot_16.10_[2016.02.28_23.51.10]One thing is certain for me; I am now one hundred percent sure that their homeroom teacher is the culprit. Not only does he seem extremely interested (more so than just wanting what’s best for his students), but he also seems to be in control of everything, you know? I mean, how can Kayo’s mother know they’re coming each and every time? She did not escape around the back when they arrived. She was already gone.

Kayo’s death may have been postponed for now. But she’ll end up dying anyway if Satoru doesn’t realize it soon. He knows the culprit’s footprint right now so he can use that as a means of finding the killer. The real kick in the balls is that Satoru’s mother is actually helping her killer to kill a little girl right now. She trusts that homeroom teacher way too much.
