I grossly underestimated this show back when the very first episode aired. I thought it was a cheap rip-off with a weird spin. I humbly admit that I was horribly wrong and that this is not at all like Disney’s story.
The artwork is very good. I know that Bones is working on it and those guys have an incredible pedigree. They are responsible for many top-quality anime over the years. It goes without saying that I have no complaints about the artwork.
I was mistaken about the story. This is completely different. It is filled with betrayed, love and action. I honestly cannot see this get any better than it already is.
I really do recommend this. It’s very amusing to watch and there’s hardly ever a dull moment. I have yet to come across an episode where I actually got bored.
Plot Summary: This is the continuation of the story about Shirayuki, a young independent and persistent girl with rare red hair who is under training as the palace herbalist, Zen Wistalia, second prince of the kingdom of Clarines, and the journey and struggles that they all go through in dealing with their new found love for each other and the unwanted attention that Shirayuki brings due to her hair.Read More
It’s technically not an anime-short since it’s at least ten minutes per episode, but that does not change the fact that I’m kind of writing this against my will.
The artwork is so-so and that’s me being quite generous. I am not a big fan of pretty-boy anime because those characters usually end up looking gay or so random that you couldn’t even tell them apart in a ten-character line-up.
The story just doesn’t do anything for me. It’s so boring and pointless. I’m not a huge fan of slice of life stuff to begin with.
I don’t see myself watching this next week and I don’t see why I should tell people to do otherwise. It’s just not interesting.
Plot Summary: Natsuki, Tomoya, Keiichi, and Tsuyoshi are high school students and close friends: The four boys have no club activities, and they hurry through their studies so they can spend their days having fun. Their main topic of interest: love. Natsuki has an unrequited crush on Anna, a girl from another class, and his friends keep meddling in their relationship.Read More
Well I certainly won’t be watching this. My god… This is so plain that I had a hard time following it. It’s not even that interesting.
The story is just too weak for me. It didn’t pique my interest whatsoever. At one point I thought something cool was about to happen when I saw one of the characters use some kind of weird power, but no…
I cannot recommend this. It looks like this might be for girls or guys that have set the bar very low. My bar is pretty up there and I am pretty sure I still have a penis. So no for me.
Plot Summary: The era where great powers of the world have all ventured overseas. Revolution and liberalism spread all over the world. Right when souls and earth are ill, a glowing sphere appeared in the sky, and removed the borders of the world. Three girls and nine young men depart together with a flying ship.Read More
Saw the first episode and I ma, as I honestly already expected, very disappointed. This is almost like Diabolik Lovers but with singing. You’d have to be a pretty fruity guy to actually like this sort of thing.
The artwork is surprisingly weak. The characters don’t stand out and the level of detail is rather disappointing. You could put any of the characters in a line-up and you probably wouldn’t be able to pick them out of there.
Still, the artwork I could live with. It’s the story that just kills it for me. There’s singing, pretty-boy demons and a helpless heroine that’s now under their care. It’s filled with so many clichés that it’s making my head ache.
I cannot recommend this. This just seems to me like another hit and miss. They tried, I suppose that’s all that matters in the end.
Plot Summary: Ritsuka Tachibana is a female second-year high school student who attends Shiko Academy in Shiko Town. She enjoyed her school life while living with her mother Maria, but one day, that balance fell into ruin when she discovers several of her attractive, male classmate are demons.
I don’t understand why this was given a second season. The first season wasn’t received so very well and many people, including myself, referred to this as a bad Vampire Knight knock-off. You may give it a new name and make it even more girly, but in the end it’s just not nearly as good.
I honestly don’t know nearly enough about to story to say anything profound about it. All I know is that it’s hard to watch and that the male characters, which all look kind of gay, are pretty much all over the heroine (for somewhat evil reasons).
I like vampires, werewolves and a lot of other supernatural characters. I think such characters allow for an amazingly interesting story filled with action, drama and perhaps a little romance and comedy. The possibilities are endless. This, unfortunately, is not one of those shows that I’m excited about. This isn’t for me.
