Tamako Market episode 10

Geez, watching this week’s episode of Tamako Market was really weird now that I obtained a new piece of information thanks to one of my (loyal?) readers. It was definitely weird, even though I don’t fully agreed with what was said.

[Mazui]_Tamako_Market_-_10_[84082B73].mkv_snapshot_00.16_[2013.03.14_21.32.29]It was said that Midori, that short-haired blonde, likes Tamako so much that she actually loves her in a romantic way. I’m very sorry, but I don’t see it. I definitely see a strong friendship between the two, but I don’t see any romance there. I watched episode three for the third time this week and I still fail to see it. Maybe I’m really slow?

This episode focussed on yet another event. Surprise, surprise… And I was kind of happy that Tokiwa earned herself some time in the spotlight, because I was dying to find out if it was true or not, but I don’t see it. Midori didn’t seem at all interested in Tamako other than as a friend. Then again, she was rather occupied this time.

She got all emotional and Tamako tried to cheer her up and gave her a hug. I thought to myself; “this is it! This will prove something!” – Or so I thought. What happened? Nothing. Midori didn’t blush, she didn’t feel uncomfortable and she didn’t even really seem to care that Tamako was the one hugging her. I’m a really that blind?

The one good thing that came out of this episode was at the very end, as one would already expect. Choi finally announced that Tamako is to be the princess’ future bride. She thinks that she is the one because of the mole in her neck (and probably because of some others things as well). This will get really interesting. Maybe we’ll finally get to see that prince?
