Okay… Question: what the hell did I watch here? Is this seriously an anime? Really? I wish Taken Driland was a living thing, merely so that I could kill ‘it’ with fire. It’s like Double-J all over again. At least this one looks a bit better, at least.
The artwork isn’t really worth mentioning. Some of the characters (mostly monsters) do look pretty interesting, but the rest is just downright hideous. Even several expressions on the faces of characters look dreadful. And I haven’t even mentioned the poor scenario detail.
The story is doable, I suppose. One would become semi-interested if you were to read the plot. However, you are simply put off when you actually start watching. The childish artwork just makes me want to rip off my screen and throw it through the window, hoping that one of the animators happens to pass by my window at that specific moment.
No. Oh god no. I definitely don’t recommend this. I suppose there’s a small group of people that might find this <insert relatively long pause here whilst I puke my guts out> “cute”, but I sure as hell am not one of those people. The story itself is barely doable, but it’s absolutely not worth it if you have to put up with this type of artwork. No sir.
Plot Summary: Due to the influence of someone who visited her town when she was a child, Princess Mikoto of Elua decides to become a hunter and search for treasure all over the land of Driland. She sets out on her journey with her personal assistant Wallens, but they are soon joined by Pollon, a hunter who dreams of being a hero, and Paan, a wandering knight. As they continue their exploration they begin to sense great danger drawing near.
