The Knight in the Area episode 14

I see that most of the fansubbers have picked up their usual pace. I guess the stampede is over, now that most of the groups are picking out their favourites for this spring. I hope that GG and/or SageSubs will pick up Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? of the dead.

Anyway, let’s get on with this week’s episode of The Knight in the Area. I was hoping, after seeing the ending of last week’s episode over and over, that Kakeru was about to develop something amazing. Sigh, nothing could be further from the truth. He appears to have discovered a move, a move that is filed under, and I quote; “mythical faints”. How very exciting interesting awesome nice. I was thinking more along the lines of a super kick, but no… A super faint is all we are getting, even though Kakeru still hasn’t used his left leg much.

Moving on… The team seems to be doing very well now. The team is once again complete and it seems the fighting has stopped. The players of the old “serious” team have accepted coach Teppei, no matter how ridiculous or pointless his methods may seem at first. It’s not like they had much of a choice after they realized how strict and dedicated he is. They no longer had any excuse, so I’m glad they came back.

I will once again be watching next week. It seems that things are going to heat up again, now that Kakeru has found something new to work on, a new team has shown up to challenge them, and how Kakeru is completely frustrated by his current inability to perform that faint, and there for getting substituted for someone else in the middle of a game. Life is filled with hardships, but it’s up to the individual to get passed all that. Let us see how Kakeru will handle this one!

What’s wrong with a super faint? I play soccer too (amateur-level of course) and faints are actually pretty important in order to advance.
