Tokyo ESP

The author behind this creation is also responsible for Ga-Rei: zero. It seems he is quite successful in getting anime adaptions for his manga. Even I have to admit that this proved to be quite the amusing first episode.

Tokyo ESPThe artwork is good. Very detailed. They worked quite a bit on the characters and the details are simply great. I can definitely see myself watching this every week if everything looks this good.

I also quite like the story. Usually it’s the “normal humans” that are in control of the world and have more than enough power to supress espers. The roles have turned in Tokyo ESP. The espers have gained control and are raising hell in Japan. I will be looking forward to seeing the rest.

I do recommend this. Action fans and super power fans will be ecstatic. I am ecstatic. I think most anime fans would enjoy this sort of thing, so why not give the first episode a try?

Plot Summary: The science fantasy story Tokyo ESP begins with Rinka, an extremely poor high school girl who lives with just her father in modern Tokyo. One day, she is going home from school when she chases a “flying penguin” to the top of New Tokyo Tower—only to have “fish swimming in the air” suddenly appear before her. One of the fish goes through Rinka and gives her extraordinary powers beyond those of normal humans, particularly the ability to slip through solid objects.
